EVENT POSTPONED.....Slow ticket sales for the upcoming Stargate event with Gary Jones, Dan Shea & Kavan Smith have unfortunately forced us to postpone this event until April/May 2009 (exact dates to be advised soon). We have made the hard decision to postpone the event to April/May 2009 in order to give ticket sales a chance in this current economic climate (especially in Sydney). We believe that we have some great guests and are looking forward to holding them over till April/May. For those wanting refunds we will send them out on request once the new dates are announced, however please understand that if you request a refund we cannot guarantee the same ticket price for the new dates.

UPDATE 26/10/09.....As has been noted elsewhere Gary Jones has stepped in at the last minute to replace David Anders for HUB Productions at Armageddon.  He joins now Kavan Smith as the second guest from our planned Stargate event who will be appearing at Armageddon in NZ and Melbourne.  So, where does that leave us for the event we postponed till May?  Culture Shock will have an exciting Stargate event as planned. It is possible that Kavan and Gary may be back as not everyone ventures to Melbourne for Armageddon, however there are possibilities now for some other great guests to be added to the event. Those who have purchased tickets already have allocated places at the same ticket price, even if due to circumstances prices rise. Refunds can be requested by dropping us an email. These will be processed following Armageddon.

Culture Shock Events is pleased to be able to announce that GARY JONES ('Sgt Walter Harriman' Stargate SG-1/Atlantis), DAN SHEA ('Sgt Silar' Stargate SG-1 / Stuntman) and KAVAN SMITH ('Major Lorne' Stargate Atlantis) will be joining us for a day of Stargate stories, and no doubt laughs, in Melbourne on the 15th November and Sydney on the 16th November.

	'Chief Master Sergeant Harriman' Stargate SG-1/Atlantis Gary Jones played the part of "Walter Harriman" a technician for the Stargate recruited by General Hammond, joining the Stargate Command and working in the control room. He later became the highest-ranking non-commissioned officer, 'Chief Master Sergeant Harriman'. Jones continued his role into the spin-off series "Stargate Atlantis", appearing in 9 episodes of the show to date. He has also guest starred in many other television series including "Andromeda", "Dead Like Me", "The L Word", and "The Outer Limits".
	'Sergeant Siler' Stargate SG-1 / Stuntman An Ontario native, Shea played college hockey but an eye injury forced him to give up the sport. He worked as Richard Dean Anderson's stand in on MacGyver . He fills that function on Stargate SG-1 , as well as being stunt coordinator and playing the part of Sgt. Siler.
	'Major Lorne' Stargate Atlantis As an actor in Vancouver, Smith has made a career of performing in many of the United States' most appreciated sci-fi series. He performed five different roles in five episodes of the acclaimed series The Outer Limits. Soon after he was playing the American Pilot in Brian DePalma's Mission To Mars. He then portrayed the role of "Major Lorne" on SG1 and the role was brought back on Stargate: Atlantis three years later. He now recurs on the series. In addition, he is also recurring on the series The 4400 as Agent Garrity. Kavan splits his time between Los Angeles and Vancouver.
